TB2 İkinci Nesil Uçak Sistemleri: SATCOM ve EO/IR Ekibi Hakkında Güncelleme
Baykar integrates the second-generation avionics package into the best-selling Turkish drone Bayraktar TB2. The update will also be offered to current operators as a retrofittable upgrade package.
Satellite Communications Coming
The original TB2 did not have a beyond-line-of-sight communication channel. With the second-generation package, the TB2 gains satellite communication (SATCOM) capability. This significantly increases its operational range.
New EO/IR Suite
The platform’s sensor head is being upgraded. The new EO/IR suite provides higher resolution, improved target tracking, and integrates a laser rangefinder.
Open to Export Customers
The upgrade package will also be offered to current export customers. Nearly 30 operators of the Bayraktar TB2 worldwide will have the opportunity to benefit from the new package.
