Sustainment Package for Kuwait’s C-17 Fleet Approved
DSCA issued a Congressional notification on July 16, 2026, for a sustainment and logistics support package for Kuwait’s C-17 Globemaster III fleet, covering spare parts, technical assistance, and maintenance services.
The C-17 forms the backbone of the Kuwait Air Force’s strategic airlift capability. Sustainment packages are considered critical to maintaining a platform’s operational readiness rate and are typically structured as multi-year contracts.
