K808 Tigon: South Korea’s 8×8 Wheeled APC
The K808 Tigon is a Hyundai Rotem/Hanwha 8×8 wheeled APC. At 26–30 tons with modular weapon options and C-130 air-transportability, it targets rapid-deployment forces in mid-size armies.
Rise of Wheeled Armor
K808 reaches 100 km/h on standard roads and is air-transportable by C-130/C-17. Modular weapon kits scale from 12.7mm to 30mm autocannon, mortar, or ATGM.
Export Competition
Directly competes with Turkish PARS and ARMA in Middle East and Southeast Asian markets. Export evaluations are ongoing.
