ASELSAN’s naval systems are the electronic solutions that form the eyes, ears and reflexes of modern warships. In Turkey’s MİLGEM and other national ship programmes, ASELSAN is a supplier across a wide range — from radar to weapon systems, electronic warfare to mission management. Below we look at the main naval systems.

Ship radars and combat-management systems

On naval platforms ASELSAN provides the multifunction ÇAFRAD radar suite, surveillance and fire-control radars, and combat-management/mission systems. These systems build the ship’s air and surface picture and enable weapons to be managed from a single centre.

Weapons, electronic warfare and underwater

ASELSAN also develops solutions such as the GÖKDENİZ close-in weapon system, remote-controlled weapon stations (STOP/STAMP), shipborne electronic-warfare suites and sonar/underwater acoustic systems. These products protect the ship holistically against air, surface and underwater threats.
