PARS ALPHA 8×8: FNSS’s 115 km/h Wheeled Armoured Fighting Vehicle

FNSS’s PARS ALPHA 8×8 redefines the wheeled infantry fighting vehicle with a 115 km/h top speed, 800+ km operational range, and a TEBER-II 30mm remote-controlled turret that turns the platform from troop carrier to combined-arms weapons system. Production vehicles are being delivered to the Turkish Land Forces.
FNSS unveiled the PARS ALPHA at the World Defence Show 2024 in Riyadh as a ground-up new-generation platform. The hydro-pneumatic suspension with adjustable ride height, all-axle lockable steering, and an optimised turning radius for urban warfare combine to give the ALPHA agility characteristics rarely seen in the 8×8 class.
The TEBER-II remote-controlled turret mounts a dual-feed 30mm automatic cannon changeable to 40mm by swapping the recoil spring and feeder — a calibre upgrade achievable in the field. The platform architecture supports 35mm, 90mm, 105mm, and 120mm manned or remote turrets, anti-tank guided missile systems, air defence systems, and a 120mm mortar carrier variant.
The protection envelope addresses mine, IED, ballistic, and artillery fragmentation threats at the top of its class. A hybrid CBRN system with positive-pressure masked-type protection keeps all 12 crew mission-capable in chemical and biological environments. Optional active protection system integration future-proofs the platform against evolving threats.
The 800+ km range enables operational manoeuvre without a refuelling pause — a logistics advantage with outsized tactical impact in extended campaigns. At 115 km/h, the ALPHA can match road convoy speeds and reposition faster than any wheeled predecessor in the Turkish inventory.
FNSS showcased the PARS ALPHA alongside ZAHA and KAPLAN hybrid-autonomous systems at SAHA EXPO 2026, signalling its centrality to Turkey’s land forces modernisation roadmap. International customer negotiations are advancing across several markets.
