“Silent Watch” Mode
The main selling point of the AKREP IIE is its silent watch capability. Traditional armored vehicles need to keep their diesel engines running or set up an auxiliary generator for passive surveillance; both increase the signature. The AKREP IIE already powers its electronic systems (radio, optics, night vision, air conditioning) with its battery; silent watch for hours is possible.
This makes it ideal for the role of “invisible observer” in modern intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) doctrine. An AKREP IIE team can hide at a point in enemy territory and conduct passive monitoring for 8-12 hours; when the operation is over, they leave quietly.
