SIPER Block-II: New Steel Dome Position in the Long-Range Air Defense Missile System

The long-range national air defense system of Turkey, SİPER, with the Block-II version, is gaining a more critical position in the country’s Steel Dome architecture. The program, carried out in partnership with ROKETSAN and ASELSAN, is approaching the first inventory deliveries.
What’s New in Block-II?
Block-II brings significant improvements in terms of range and engagement ceiling compared to the previous version. At the same time, it is granted basic coverage against ballistic missile threats.
Command and Control
SİPER connects through a command and control software developed by ASELSAN with the HİSAR family and other layers of air defense. The Steel Dome concept, managed with a single aerial picture, enhances the strategic value of SİPER.
Next Step
The first operational deliveries for SİPER Block-II will begin at the end of this year. Preliminary work for the Block-III version is progressing in parallel.
