SIPER Block-II: New Steel Dome Position in Long Range Air Defense Missile

Turkey’s long-range domestic air defense system SİPER is gaining a more critical position in the country’s Steel Dome architecture with the Block-II version. The program, conducted in partnership with ROKETSAN and ASELSAN, is approaching its first inventory deliveries.
What’s New in Block-II?
Block-II brings significant improvements in range and engagement ceiling compared to the previous version. It also provides fundamental coverage against ballistic missile threats.
Command Control
SİPER connects with the HİSAR family and other air defense layers through a joint command-control software developed by ASELSAN. The Steel Dome concept, managed with a single air picture, enhances the strategic value of SİPER.
Next Step
The first operational deliveries for SİPER Block-II will begin at the end of this year. Preliminary studies for the Block-III version are progressing in parallel.
