K10 ARV: World’s First Automated Ammunition Resupply Vehicle

The K10 ARV is Hanwha Aerospace’s fully automated 155mm ammunition resupply vehicle, designed to work in tandem with the K9 Thunder. With a 104-round magazine and robotic transfer arm, it resupplies K9 without crew exposure — the world’s first such system in serial production.
The Most Dangerous Moment in Artillery Operations
Artillery units are most vulnerable during resupply. The K10 solves this: it pulls alongside the K9 and uses a robotic arm to transfer rounds — no crew needs to dismount during the process.
System Integration
One K10 is assigned per K9 battery. The K10’s 104-round capacity refills a K9 in approximately 20 minutes. Shared chassis components simplify logistics.

Türk Muadili
Turkey’s T-155 Fırtına has no equivalent automated ARV. Fırtına crews must resupply by conventional means, lacking the sustained-fire advantage the K9+K10 system pair delivers.
