ASELSAN‘s helicopter fire control radar MİLDAR is being integrated into the new generation heavy attack helicopter T929 ATAK-2. MİLDAR is a critical component in achieving the helicopter’s full operational capability.

MİLDAR is a millimeter wave (MMW) radar specifically designed for the operational needs of helicopters. It combines tasks such as low-altitude flight, target detection, and fire control into a single system.

The Significance of ATAK-2

T929 ATAK-2 has a heavier payload and stronger weapon carrying capacity compared to the existing T129 ATAK. The integration of MİLDAR enables the helicopter to fully utilize this capacity.

Export Expectations

There is high export interest for the T929 ATAK-2 produced by TUSAŞ. MİLDAR is also expected to be sold as part of this package.
