RBS 15: Saab’s Long-Range Anti-Ship and Land-Attack Missile

RBS 15 is a long-range, all-weather anti-ship and land-attack cruise missile that has become a cornerstone of Baltic Sea deterrence. The Mk3 variant, with a range exceeding 200 km, is operated by Sweden, Finland, Poland, Germany and Croatia. The forthcoming Gungnir (Mk4) variant will extend that range further still. Poland and Germany’s procurement of RBS 15 Mk3 reflects the post-2022 urgency to strengthen maritime denial capabilities in the Baltic region.
