NMS-L 4×4: Nurol Makina’s Scalable Armour Vehicle for Extreme Environments

The NMS-L 4×4 is Nurol Makina’s latest expression of scalable-armour philosophy: STANAG 4569-compliant modular protection, an operational temperature window stretching from -32°C to +55°C, and a five-man crew capacity built for the toughest geographic extremes.
Nurol Makina engineered the NMS-L around the principle that a light armoured vehicle should not force operators to choose between protection and mobility. Scalable composite armour lets users tailor blast and ballistic resistance to mission requirements without a complete platform change.
The extreme temperature range is a deliberate design parameter, not an afterthought. From cold-weather start capability at -32°C to effective climate control at +55°C, the NMS-L stays mission-ready regardless of operational theatre. This makes it a natural candidate for mountain, desert, and arctic deployments where environmental stress is a first-order challenge.
Off-road performance matches the protection envelope: 70 percent gradient, 0.9-metre trench crossing, and run-flat tyres with optional central tyre inflation ensure continued mobility after partial battle damage. Disc brakes with ABS provide controlled deceleration on steep descents.
The five-person platform adapts across mine and IED detection, CBRN reconnaissance, weapon support, and border surveillance roles. Optional day/night 360° driver vision, automatic fire suppression across engine bay and crew compartment, and tactical navigation are available for demanding mission sets.
The NMS-L represents domestic Turkish design and full in-country production, keeping the supply chain independent and the technology sovereign.
