Beyond affiliates, ASELSAN maintains partnership ties with other giants of Turkey’s defense industry. The best known is its roughly 15 percent stake in the missile and rocket maker ROKETSAN. This partnership captures the complementary relationship between the two: ASELSAN builds sensors, radars and fire-control systems, while ROKETSAN handles the missile and rocket side. Similarly, there is a complementary division of labor with HAVELSAN in software and command-control, and with Turkish Aerospace in platform integration.
