The design phase of the long-range Air Defense Missile SİPER integration on the planned TF-2000 Air Defense Destroyer for the Turkish Navy has been reached. ASFAT has shared the progress of the project.

Vertical Launch System

The TF-2000 will utilize a Vertical Launch System (VLS). In this way, SİPER and other domestic air defense missiles that will be produced in the future can be launched through a single structure.

Regional Air Defense

The primary mission of the TF-2000 is to provide regional air defense for the naval task force. The class is designed to respond to a multi-layered threat profile, including early warning for ballistic missiles.

ÇAFRAD and the First Ship

The backbone of the class will be the advanced version of ÇAFRAD. The launch date for the backbone of the first ship is planned for mid-2027.
