ROKETSAN has developed the Micro Satellite Launch System (MUFS), and ground tests will begin at the end of 2026. The project is a critical step for Turkey in the field of local space access capabilities.
Special Design for Micro Satellites
MUFS is designed to deliver micro satellites weighing up to 100 kg to low Earth orbit (LEO) with a small payload capacity. This market serves the rapidly growing global micro satellite sector in recent years.
Local Fuel System
All components of the system have been developed by local specialists. The knowledge of fuel chemistry that ROKETSAN has acquired over years of working with ballistic missiles and long-range systems has been directly transferred to the MUFS project.
Space Strategy
In the 10-year plan of the Turkish Space Agency, the development of local launch capabilities is one of the priority goals. MUFS is positioned as the first operational step towards this goal.
