FNSS KAPLAN MT medium-class tank: Update with Indonesian configuration
FNSS and PT Pindad announced a comprehensive upgrade package for the KAPLAN MT, the medium-class tank with an Indonesian configuration called Harimau. The system will expand its role in the inventory of the Indonesian Army.

The KAPLAN MT fills the gap between the main battle tank and the armored fighting vehicle in the medium tank category. It offers an improved balance between armor and mobility designed for tropical forest operations and soft terrain.

The upgrade package includes an enhanced cooling system for tropical climate, integration of local communications, and an improved fire control system.
Second Customer Expectations
FNSS has begun preliminary negotiations for its second customer in the Asian market for the KAPLAN MT. The Philippines, Malaysia, and Bangladesh are among the potential customers.
