AESA and multifunction radars
The most critical advance in radar is active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar. ASELSAN’s MURAD AESA family is a modern solution that scales across platforms. The ÇAFRAD, developed for the navy, is a multifunction radar that combines several tasks in one system on ship platforms.
Surveillance and fire-control radars
ASELSAN offers different radars for low/medium-altitude air surveillance, counter-battery (gun/rocket location), border surveillance and fire control. Systems such as ALP and KALKAN are examples aimed at these needs. These radars act as the eyes of land, naval and air-defence systems alike.
