FNSS KAPLAN MT Medium Tanks: Update in Indonesian Configuration
FNSS and PT Pindad have developed a comprehensive upgrade package for the medium tank named KAPLAN MT, configured for Indonesia. This system will expand its role in the inventory of the Indonesian army.

KAPLAN MT occupies an intermediate position between a main battle tank and an armored personnel carrier. It offers an optimized balance between armor and mobility for operations in tropical forests and soft terrains.
Special Upgrades for Indonesia
The upgrade package includes a cooling system optimized for tropical climates, local communication integration, and an enhanced fire control system.
Second Customer Expectations
FNSS has begun preliminary discussions with a second customer for KAPLAN MT in the Asian market. The Philippines, Malaysia, and Bangladesh are among the potential customers.
