ROKETSAN launches the National Space Launch Vehicle: Ground Tests by the End of 2026
Yazı Özetini Göster

ROKETSAN has developed the Micro Satellite Launch System (MUFS), and ground tests will begin in late 2026. The project represents a critical step in Turkey’s national space access capability.

Special Design for Micro Satellites

The MUFS is designed to carry 100 kg class micro satellites to low Earth orbit (LEO) with a small payload capacity. This market serves the global micro satellite sector, which has rapidly grown in recent years.

National Fuel System

All levels of propulsion for the system were developed locally. The knowledge about fuel chemistry that ROKETSAN has acquired over the years in ballistic missiles and long-range systems has been directly transferred to the MUFS project.

Space Strategy

The 10-year plan of the Turkish Space Agency includes the development of national launch capability as one of its priority objectives. The MUFS positions itself as the first operational step towards this goal.
