HÜRJET Serial Production: First Delivery Date Announced for the Air Force
TUSAŞ announced the schedule for the serial production of its domestic training and light combat aircraft HÜRJET. The first deliveries to the Air Force are expected to begin in 2027.
Two mission profiles
HÜRJET has been designed for both training pilots on jet aircraft and performing light combat tasks. This dual role will allow it to occupy a place in both training and operational squadrons.
Also for the aerobatic team
HÜRJET is the strongest candidate to replace the outdated NF-5 in the Türk Yıldızları aerobatic team. There are plans to develop special software and a visual package for the aerobatic configuration.
Showcase for export
The opening of the serial production line for HÜRJET will also activate the export potential of the system. Pakistan, Malaysia, and some Gulf countries have shown interest in the system.
