FNSS KAPLAN MT Medium Class Tank: Update on the Indonesia Configuration
FNSS and PT Pindad have developed a comprehensive upgrade package for the medium-class tank configuration called Harimau KAPLAN MT for Indonesia. The system will expand its role in the inventory of the Indonesian Army.

KAPLAN MT fits into the medium-class tank category by filling a gap between main battle tanks and armored combat vehicles. It offers an optimized balance of armor and mobility for operations in tropical forests and soft terrains.
Special Updates for Indonesia
The upgrade package includes a cooling system optimized for tropical climates, local communication integration, and an improved fire control system.
Second Customer Expectation
FNSS has begun preliminary discussions with a second customer in the Asian market for KAPLAN MT. The Philippines, Malaysia, and Bangladesh are among the potential customers.
