Turkey’s First Corvette Export to Asia-Pacific
The LMS Batch-2 is derived from Turkey’s MILGEM program and developed by STM as an export variant. This contract marks Turkey’s first corvette export to the Asia-Pacific region, establishing the country as a significant naval systems supplier in this strategic market.
A key feature of the vessel’s armament is the integration of Turkey’s domestic ATMACA anti-ship missile, which offers a range exceeding 220 km and serves as the Turkish Navy’s primary surface-to-surface weapon system.
