ROKETSAN’s domestic space launcher: Ground testing will take place by the end of 2026.
ROKETSAN developed Micro Satellite Launch System (MUFS) ground testing will begin at the end of 2026. This project is a key step towards Turkey’s indigenous space access capability.
Dedicated Design for Micro Satellites
MUFS is designed to deliver micro satellites weighing around 100 kilograms to Low Earth Orbit (LEO), with its small payload capacity serving the rapidly growing global micro satellite market in recent years.
Indigenous Fuel System
All propulsion stages of the system are developed locally. The fuel chemistry knowledge gained by ROKETSAN over the years in ballistic missiles and long-range systems has been directly transferred to the MUFS project.
Space Strategy
In the Turkish Space Agency’s 10-year plan, the development of indigenous launch capability is one of the priority goals. MUFS is positioned as the first operational step to achieve this goal.
