ROKETSAN launches the national space launch vehicle: Ground tests by the end of 2026.
RocketSAN has developed the Micro Satellite Launch System (MUFS), and ground tests will begin in late 2026. The project represents a critical step in Turkey’s ability to access national space.
Special Design for Small Satellites
The MUFS is designed to carry small satellites weighing up to 100 kg into low Earth orbit (LEO) with a small payload capacity. This serves the global small satellite market, which has rapidly grown in recent years.
National Fuel System
All levels of propulsion for the system have been developed locally. The knowledge of fuel chemistry that RocketSAN has gained over the years in ballistic missiles and long-range systems has been directly transferred to the MUFS project.
Space Strategy
The Turkish Space Agency’s ten-year plan includes developing national launch capability as one of its priority goals. The MUFS positions itself as the first operational step towards achieving this goal.
