ASELSAN KORAL EH System: Operational Evaluation in NATO Exercise

ASELSAN‘s domestic electronic warfare system KORAL was operationally used in an exercise conducted under NATO. The system was evaluated in jamming and deception missions against air defense radars.
The Role of KORAL
KORAL is a ground-based electronic warfare system. It ensures that friendly air assets can conduct operations more safely by jamming enemy air defense radars from long distances.
Exercise Results
During the NATO exercise, KORAL successfully carried out simultaneous jamming missions against multiple radar threats. The system proved to be effective in the modern EW environment with its frequency hopping and deceptive signal generation capabilities.
Next Version
ASELSAN will transition to an upgraded GaN-based RF infrastructure in the next version of the KORAL family. This will increase the effective jamming range and the number of simultaneous threat targeting.
