ASELSAN KORAL EH System: Operational Assessment in NATO Exercises
Yazı Özetini Göster

ASELSAN The local electronic warfare system KORAL was practically used in an exercise conducted within NATO. The system was evaluated in jamming and deception missions against air defense radars.

KORAL’s Position

KORAL is a ground-based electronic warfare system. It jams enemy air defense radars from long distances, allowing friendly air elements to conduct operations more safely.

Exercise Results

In the NATO exercise, KORAL successfully carried out simultaneous jamming missions against multiple radar threats. The system demonstrated its effectiveness in the modern electronic warfare environment thanks to its ability to hop frequencies and produce deceptive signals.

Next Release

ASELSAN will transition to a GaN-based RF infrastructure in the next version of the KORAL family. This will increase the effective jamming range and the number of simultaneous targets that can be engaged.
