TB2 Second Generation Avionics: Updates on Satellite Communication and Electro-Optical/Infrared Kits
BAYKAR is integrating a second-generation avionics suite for the world’s best-selling Turkish drone Bayraktar TB2. This update will also be offered as a retroactive upgrade package for existing operators.
SATCOM is Here
The original version of the TB2 not only lacked beyond-line-of-sight communication data links. With the launch of the second-generation package, satellite communication (SATCOM) capabilities will be added to the TB2. This significantly increases the mission range.
Brand New EO/IR Suite
The platform’s sensor pod is being updated. The new EO/IR suite offers higher resolution, enhanced target tracking, and laser rangefinder integration.
Open to Export Customers
The upgrade package will also be available to existing export customers. Nearly 30 global Bayraktar TB2 operators will be able to benefit from the new package.
