ASELSAN MİLDAR: Helicopter fire control radar in T929 ATAK-2

ASELSAN‘s helicopter fire control radar MİLDAR is being integrated with the new generation heavy attack helicopter T929 ATAK-2. MİLDAR is a key component for the helicopter to achieve full operational capability.

Radar Designed for Helicopters

MİLDAR is a millimeter wave (MMW) radar specifically designed for helicopter operational needs. It integrates tasks such as low-altitude flight, target identification, and fire control into a single system.

Significance of ATAK-2

The T929 ATAK-2 has a heavier payload and stronger weapon carrying capability compared to the existing T129 ATAK. The integration of MİLDAR allows the helicopter to fully utilize this capability.

Export Expectations

There is high export interest in the T929 ATAK-2 produced by TUSAŞ. It is expected that MİLDAR will also be sold as part of this package.
