About Turkish Aerospace
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI / TUSAŞ) is Türkiye’s flagship aerospace integrator. Originally established in 1973 and restructured into its current form in 2005, TUSAŞ is responsible for the country’s most strategic aerospace programmes — including the KAAN fifth-generation fighter, the Hürjet supersonic jet trainer, the ATAK helicopter family (T129, T929) and the ANKA UAV family.
Beyond its own platforms, TUSAŞ is a tier-one structural supplier to Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin and other global primes. It builds Black Hawk helicopters under licence for Turkish forces and produces structural components for the F-35 (despite Türkiye’s removal from the JSF programme).
